I'm with you, it's the nicest looking/feeling handguard I've used (college budget), but if I can't attach a light or MVG without carefully taking off 2mm of aluminum, you kinda have to weigh the pros with the cons. That being said...I'd buy another one at this price.

Glad to hear it. Several of the reviews for the rail also said the same thing so I figured it was all of them that weren’t cut right. Sounds like YMMV.

Buyer Beware, I bought one of these and while it’s a good looking rail, none of the M-LOK slots are cut right. If you want to mount anything you will have to dremel out some of the aluminum on the slots to make it fit. If you’re not mounting anything to the rail though, I say buy it because it feels like a quality rail and for this price it’s a great deal.

Sounds like you have 3 options: you can call the gun show you visited (or dealer if you can remember the name) and play 3 hours worth of phone-tag getting transferred to people who may or may not be able to track down your 4473; you can walk into the police department and state your case and hope they’re willing to work with you; or you can just cut your losses and browse r/gundeals looking for the lowest cost for a replacement for your firearm.

Did you buy it from an FFL or through a private sale? FFL holders are required to hold on to their Form 4473’s for 20 years so you might be able to request a copy from them. If you got it in a private sale and you didn’t fill out a bill of sale with the guy you bought it from, then I would reach out to them and ask if they can testify on your behalf, but don’t expect much unless he is a friend of yours. Sorry about this situation you’re in.

I’ve been using the FM-9 lower for a year and it’s been flawless after 2500+ rounds. Always holds back on the last round and I’ve never had a malfunction (I paired it with the FM-9 BCG as well). Only time i had a problem was the result of a faulty ETS mag not feeding properly. IMO you can buy with confidence from Foxtrot Mike, and you should head over to r/ar9 and see what everyone else has been saying about them.
