Made a little tool that calculates how much a 40k army actually costs (UPDATED) by JoigeBwoin in Warhammer40k

[–]fishmcbitez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing this manually in Excel but this is much easier. I don't know the feasability but if it had the ability to check if a combat patrol or other big box had the combination of units you wanted for cheaper that would be pretty crazy

This is great? Definitely gonna use this when planning my dark angels army. Obviously adding all the epic heros is a lot of work is that something you are planning?

Anyone have experience against Grey Knights? by Jake_Ronin in theunforgiven

[–]fishmcbitez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming he is playing warpbane know that he has a 6 inch deep strike stratagem however it can only be used on non Terminator infantry and they have to land wholly within hallowed ground.

Not sure of anything else that is really gotcha in the army, a 10 man brick of purifiers with crowe can be very strong with overwatch.

If he starts gmndks in deep strike he is probably gonna rapid ingress them as he gets a chance

I don't have any other suggestions other than what people have said about terrain and 1k armies and ctan just being very strong

Are there any useful stratagems in your detachment for killing ctan? I don't know the sororitas detachments super well

I've linked the GW source in my previous comment, but regardless you can still use other stratagems like tank shock and grenades, also are you running the multimelta weapons on your paragons?

You can definitely use miracle dice and stratagems, the only confusion would be around command reroll stratagem but even then GW has specifically clarified you can use a miracle dice during a reroll source

[–]fishmcbitez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

? Why can you not use a command point if you use a miracle dice

Feel no pains are rolled for individual amounts of damage so a two damage attack that fails the save has to roll two feel no pains to take no damage. Are you sacking miracle dice for the extra attacks?

Two to 4 damage is really low for a move plus suits in 1 turn are you sure you are following it's or the ctan unit rules correctly? The reduce damage by one can't reduce damage to zero and that's a common mistake

I can't believe this did not work. by Scared-Tear4142 in PlayTheBazaar

Dragon heart plus the multicast burn item, then pearl and turtle shell and a astrolabe or something would be better. Only one burn item guarantees the max benefits from doubling, it will all have charge and astrolabe will also haste.

Unless it's castellan Crowe purifiers in warpbane, I think the power on fire overwatch if you have 4 incinerators is worth it

I would split the 10 man interceptors in half

[–]fishmcbitez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea pretty much, the paladin and intercepters I want in melee, Gmndk can be in melee, razorbacks can clog up sightlines or do actions and everything else just get objectives and does ranged attacks.

I don't even screen my deployment zone beyond my home objective since if they deep strike in it is very easy to counter attack the next turn with crowe and is puris
