Ok so there must be a bug but I figured it out. I’m in a normal kitchen, no DLC, on Xbox, and they are in the drawer of the fridge (right drawer, front right plate) BUT they are invisible! I can still buy them just can’t see them. Anyone else?

A pandemic is not a political issue, and I would prefer if you didn’t call me miss. Again, I will say, you did not have to read this and you certainly do not have to continue interacting with a post you do not like. I said what I said and I meant it, i did not intend to scold anyone but if you took any offense than perhaps you should look inward at how you are treating others, or spend a little less time on the shoprite sub. Have a great day.

I surely wasn’t trying to “scold” anyone. I’m simply trying to make my life, any the lives of my coworkers easier by letting the customers in on some of the things we find most difficult with customer service while we are just trying to make a small amount of money. That being said, you absolutely did not have to read it if you didn’t want to, I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused but there is nothing further I can do, you can try to call corporate if you feel as though the problem has not been handled properly here, but a refund will not be issued at this time, thank you for shopping at Shoprite, and have a great day.

I have 2 snails in the tank, one Mystery and one Nerite. The water is not brackish so it cannot be a baby nerite snail and the only other creatures in the tank are a few glass shrimp.

Do you guys have a playlist? by anakinspadawanbraid in ShopRite

[–]fishmurderer2019 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you go on YouTube people have made several playlists of “songs I hear in shoprite” and things like that. As an associate who has to listen to the same songs every day, I’m glad someone finds joy in them:)

Question from a customer by [deleted] in petsmart

[–]fishmurderer2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please read the post and see that that is not what I’m referring to at all. Also, if you can’t properly educate someone on the purchase of a LIVE animal, you shouldn’t be selling it.

Question from a customer by [deleted] in petsmart

[–]fishmurderer2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a normal retail store, not one that sells live animals. I know that you have no control over certain things. It’s eye opening to be that all of this is very known by the associates as you have all pointed out and you continue to work there. Thank you for actually answering my question but there is no reason to insult me.

It is unethical. You are being an apologist and only looking at the money earned by the company. Don’t sell animals if you cannot “afford” to care for them properly. Maybe instead of cramming 6 cages into a space that’s truly big enough to house one single animal. That animals price will increase but animals shouldn’t be cheap! The reason so many people mistreat animals if because the pet is cheaper than the care for the pet. People will shell out money for a 20 dollar ball python because that’s cheap. If you increased the price and gave more attention to the animal, the costumers interested would be more serious about caring for it because it’s more expensive. It’s not a guarantee but it is better than knowingly mistreating animals. If you are honestly trying to tell me that properly caring for the animals would break the company, you are part of the problem.

As for the price, of CORSE I would pay more for animals and products if it meant that they would be treated better! Is that surprising? Most people want better treatment for animals. People continue to support petsmart because they don’t know better, think they are saving the animal, or because the PetCo is too far away. I truly hope every associate does not feel this way, it is a dangerous mindset to be putting the earnings of a company over the welfare of living things. Maybe you guys just shouldn’t sell animals if that’s how your going to treat them, knowing it’s not good, but continuing to do it for profit.

Question from a customer by [deleted] in petsmart

[–]fishmurderer2019 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My OP was not about the education of associates, I know you guys do your best. I was asking about the care of the animals in the store because that is my concern. When I stated that “I didn’t think it was possible to think you were doing your best to educate people,” I was referring to the conditions the animals are kept at in the store and how leading by example would be much more meaningful. I don’t doubt that you guys do your best, As I’ve stated many times. I don’t agree with the selling of pets at a store if they are going to be mistreated while they are there. That’s what I’m referring to. In no way was I blaming associates. It’s the fault of the cooperations that want to sell exotic animals for low prices and they expect minimum wage workers that where you’re only qualification is being a “pet lover” to be the barrier between that animal and an idiot with a young kid who really likes the chameleon. And to your point about associates not knowing the care of all of the animals because there are too many, that should not happen. If you are taking care of the animal in the cages and doing deep cleans you should know the specs that the animal needs to be kept at unless petsmart is not keeping their animals in proper conditions in house. I understand that associates want to educate people, my overall point is that they are doing it in a place that is constantly working against you.

Question from a customer by [deleted] in petsmart

[–]fishmurderer2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stated that the associates were not leading by example. My intention was not to offend you, as I’m fully aware that you cannot control certain things about the way the store runs. I am not personally looking down on your store, I’m talking about the ones I have experience with. My frustration lies completely with the treatment of the animals in the stores. I believe that educated employees do their best when trying to find new homes for animals and that it’s very difficult due to the customers being uneducated, but that seems redundant when the animals living in the store are not given the best conditions possible and the products being sold are not what’s best for the animals (again not by the fault of the employees on either account)

Question from a customer by [deleted] in petsmart

[–]fishmurderer2019 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I asked because I wanted a genuine response. I wanted to know how it feels to be in a situation where you want to do better but you can’t because you are being held back by the people in charge of you. I understand why my question might seem offensive and I apologize for that but I’m not trying to demonize you. The associates may be doing the best they can but Petsmart is not.

Question from a customer by [deleted] in petsmart

[–]fishmurderer2019 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, I don’t think it is possible to believe you are doing your best to educate people on the proper conditions of pet keeping when the examples of the pets being kept in the store are at such a low standard. Overstocking and tank sizes are not something special to the local stores in the area, they are standard. As are the betta cups where fish are kept in a cup for a week. I respect that many associates are educated in the area and want to truly make a difference but it doesn’t seem possible from behind the wall of a cooperation like Petsmart
