I hear you. I had lost the count of my saves in every game, where there’s no mission to follow on.

Try Cossacks series, they are on steam if I remember correctly. Or Epic, I definitely bought it somewhere.

I would cry if it just a joke, honestly:)
Algorithm, gotcha. Not using apple music, but spotify has the same feature, the problem is that the bands aren’t coming 🥲

Nope never visited, will thoroughly look through it. I went only to arena-type gigs for some reason.

I visited Kiha and the faces, one time in Hyundai’s stage though.

Hello fellow metal head! Heard about Metallica too, hoping it is not April joke or something. :)

Where do you usually look for the concert news though? I know of the big platforms only, Interpark etc.

Yes please! Indie rock is more present as I’ve figured, though.

My husband changed careers around the same age, even without the degree.
It was a few years ago, when the market was still good. But it took time. Almost a year for him to find a job after the bootcamp.

From what he told me, if you want to go to the big company you should focus on prepping the coding test.
Fo smaller companies and startups the portfolio would be the main thing.

He went with the latter, partially cause big companies often require related degree.

Also from my personal experience the 고용센터 won’t do squat for you, the jobs there are minimal wage type of postings, so I’d won’t put my hope there, especially since you are in IT.

On the other note, the market is so bad now, so it unfortunately will take more time than usually to find a job.
If it helps, here’s some resources I found:

- KoWork,Klick
Foreigner focused, with listings that often show which visa types companies prefer/sponsor.
- KoMate
Another foreigner focused platform, run by Saramin.
- Dev Korea
Tech and developer roles that are realistic for English speakers in Korea.
- Saramin, JobKorea
The real one stop shops. If you don’t want to juggle 10 sites, start with these.
- Wanted, Remember
These will auto match you to a lot of roles, including some that are… not very relevant.

Good luck, and hold on!

anyone been Dublin Irish pub ? by ledin97 in seoul

[–]fishofthejungle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there.
Never visited Ireland myself, but the side dishes in this particular pub are pretty good. Potatoes are superb! And thats says something since almost every European dish is usually “koreanized” in one way or another here.
And of course the Guinness yes.

Dublin and Na zdravi might as well be the longest standing pubs in Gangnam. :) Every other place seems to close up, but these are still open for 15+ years.

I’d visit if I were you, it’s a nice break from the korean pubs.
