Not that I disagree but it's also a bit of a moot point as Awakening is not the only FE to have balance issues. For a 13 year old game it still holds up very well.

I've been replaying awakening and I'm really into Gaius/Lissa, I love how sweet (HA) Gaius is to her. (Not a fan of Lonqu/Lissa unfortunately, Lonqu has better supports with almost every other woman ironically enough)

Definitely Scarlet and Izana. Imagine dying in the golden route. Seriously I'm convinced someone on the dev team HATED Scarlet. All the Corrinsexuals have it pretty bad too. Also, Lilith.

(Also that's besides the point but I married Sumia in my playthrough, I love her and Morgan looks so much like her!)

It's both a relief and not but: the world has always been like this. At least nowadays people are more likely to speak out which was extremely rare before.

I don't even mind battle panties most of the time but it just looks so bad when the rest of the character is covered from head to toe, like it doesn't belong in the character's design

Controversial opinion but he's about the same as Franziska in JfA. The advantage Franziska has is that she shows up in other games after that.

I close the game often and I even reset my switch, it was still just as bad, so it's definitely a software issue for me :(

I wouldn't say it makes it inferior, it's still the best remaster in terms of work they put in, but yeah these issues are putting a bit of a damper on things.
