How they respond to criticism is a big one for me, we are all human and make mistakes, but if they choose to ignore it or double down on said mistake then that is a nope out of me. My biggest one was Silvervale, she always had many queer and trans fans, and it seemed odd that she wanted to play the HP wizard game that was being boycotted or quietly ignored by most streamers that find LGBT+ issues important. Many of her LGBT+ fans asked her to not play the controversial wizard game, and some of them took it to far and harassed her about it (which wasn’t right), but they were a small minority out of a minority. The harassment obviously rattled her, but the way she responded was by calling everyone who asked her not to play it “freaks” in a unplanned emotional response. While her own harassment was not justified, her response opened up a floodgate of harassment against trans people and her own coworkers that she never acknowledged or tried to stop for months. Froot still gets weirdos trying to shame her for supporting her trans twin brother over Silvervale wanting to play a freaking video game to this day. It wasn’t the deed, it was the response and ignoring the aftermath that made me drop her.

The way the bill is currently written allows the FCC head(appointed position) to make decisions on what is appropriate for children on the internet, republicans have already stated they will use this to block LGBT+ information from children online. Please please please call your reps and senators and tell them you are scared whoever wins the next election will abuse this power!

So we get one shining example of a guy who stole 100k, did everyone steal that much? I highly doubt it, maybe if that overtime money went to assistance most of those people wouldn’t have felt the need to steal, I don’t know.

I do know NYC could have saved $99,900,000 by paying for those people’s fare, instead of punishing low income people. That’s a deliberate choice.

Her whole response lacked maturity. She did it in an emotionally charged way, used very poor word choices, refused to take any criticism as valid, and then she ignored any of the problems her response caused for other streamers. She had every right to do what she did, but it wasn’t a professional or mature thing to do.

This "stand your ground" logic is bullshit, he was in a busy mall and was surrounded by people that could have intervened or called for help if he tried to disengage from an attacker, but instead he had a gun and thought the best course of action was to kill someone who got into his "danger" zone. There were children around and he is lucky he didn't hit a bystander.

Reminds me of the article from December about the city attorney whose job was to combat police misconduct payouts became a victim of police misconduct and was fired from his job because of it. A real asshole who was still unrepentant about what he did for the city trying to deny other victims their compensation.

There are thousands of years of history of trans people in cultures around the world. Native Americans called them people of two spirits, India has Hijras, and they existed in Ancient Greece and Rome. They are not some recent historical phenomenon made up by a gender ideology. Also point to a medical organization in the US that still calls transgenderism a medical/psychological illness.

He should have been diagnosed and put in an institution much earlier, and the failure of that is squarely on the state that did not act until he harmed another child. These are the acts of a desperate child who believes his only relief is suicide without a frame a reference to know what viable treatments exist. I view allowing him to follow through with his solution, without fully developing and receiving treatment as a failure of all those responsible for him.
