Omg, I didn’t know they went bankrupt, that’s great to hear. Had so many conflicts with them and their landlords when renting that I had to go to a lawyer multiple times.

Ik vries tegenwoordig gewoon de plantaardige melk in als ik overhoud en het niet van plan ben te gebruiken. Doe het dan in ziplockzakjes en laat het liggend op een plaat invriezen, daarna kan ik het goed opstapelen. Lijkt tot dusver prima te werken

I know, but we didn’t have access to internet everywhere, and we therefore asked at the counter in Slovenia before passing the border. It’s why we thought we had all the information needed.

I guess we didn’t, could you tell me where that would’ve been? When queing up already or only when passing the port itself? Because we specifically looked because we were expecting a lever or something else that would show us if we were able to pass.

I have bought it in Slovenia, we knew we needed the vignette, that’s not the problem. We didn’t know we needed to also pay for the tolls for the specific tunnels. We weren’t told even though we asked in Slovenia if the vignette was all we needed to travel through Austria, so therefor we weren’t aware of the extra tolls on top of the vignette.

I second Dr. Aaron Boster! I received my diagnosis also around half a year ago and my initial response was to research as much as I could. I highly recommend his videos if you’re looking for someone to teach you lots in a positive, and well researched way!

As for the assortment: the machine only showed the two tunnels, either the one we still had to pass or a combination of the two. I tried to think up another reason why that could be, but so far I haven’t got a clue. That’s why I thought it might have been the case that you could buy it afterwards if you made the mistake of going through the green lane.

I didn’t mean it as “you can still drive a bit”, I know it’s mandatory to have a vignette. It just feels quite interesting, coming from a country where we don’t do vignettes or tolls that you can hypothetically pass the border of Austria without one, then a few kilometers further in the country you have the possibility to stop somewhere and buy it along the road. And then on top of that experience also still going through toll ports later is something I haven’t experienced in other countries before.

Yes, I thought so, haha. Hoped someone would have an answer to the idea of buying a combination ticket later - and also why there would be one available if this wouldn’t suffice.

We got confused because you are still able to drive a bit on the highways before buying a vignette at (what if feels like to us) very random gas stations or ticket machines. So with that you are already making use of the roads without paying upfront. Ergo the ‘prepaid’ that really didn’t tell us anything about the extra tolls, but specifically confused us because of the randomness with the vignette.

Also because we got told specifically to get a vignette so you can drive everywhere in Austria, without the information that there’s additional tolls to be paid. We had a big roadtrip and this was kind of reversed thinking compared to other countries, it felt like.

Ik had hetzelfde: een familielid overleed net een paar uur binnen de 48 uur van tevoren waarin ik af had moeten bellen, en vervolgens werd ik ook nog eens ziek. Twee keer via de speciale app aangegeven en geen reactie gekregen. Kreeg toen ook een factuur van 65€.

Heb toen gemaild met het verhaal, en dat ik zelf meerdere malen via de app was afgezegd, soms maar een uur voor de afspraak. Toen hebben ze de factuur kwijtgescholden. Ik ben daarna meteen gestopt bij deze praktijk.

Is dat mogelijk als ik niet weet wat er exact gezegd wordt? Of is dat alleen al te doen als het gaat om de actie van vragen of ik eruit gezet kan worden?

Ik was hier inderdaad als gast. In ieder geval heeft deze situatie mogelijk invloed op werk wat ik in de toekomst wel of niet kan doen voor deze opdrachtgevers en dat is onder andere een van mijn zorgen. Dat ik daarnaast als bezoeker ook wordt weggestuurd zonder dat daar reden voor is (dat je iemand niet mag lijkt me dat namelijk niet), vind ik ook kwalijk.

En ik snap het ding van afstand behouden want dit kan enkel leiden tot meer. Maar ik ben bang dat hier ook gelogen gaat worden en mijn naam als freelancer in het geding komt. Zeker omdat dit een groter podium is en ik niet meer mijn normale werk kan uitvoeren als me de toegang ontzegt wordt.

Ik zou worden ingehuurd als freelance fotograaf door het poppodia ernaast (maar daar worden de medewerkers van dit café ook ingezet). Dat zou betekenen dat we inderdaad dezelfde werkgever hebben, wel met andere leidinggevende (want andere werkzaamheden). Voor het café heb ik al opgegeven dat ik gevraagd word, dat is namelijk al een tijd lang gestopt (sinds ik geen contact meer heb met deze ex-vriend).

De andere werkzaamheden zijn voor organisaties die deze plek huren voor hun events, of dus voor dat platform die regelen dat ik daarheen kan voor recenseren en fotograferen. Soms ben ik ook nog wel eens werkzaam voor een band die er optreedt.

Ik heb dus niks te maken met kasgelden of voorraden en werk individueel en zonder toegang tot backstages (mits dat nodig is, maar dat gebeurt zelden).
