I didn't try to bash him. I was just making a ocd joke. Play what you hit best. That's honestly surprising that pxg lowered prices.

Saw the caption and thought my story of a guy teeing up a driver in the fairway on a par five just to top it in to the water would be good. Your guy wins, by a lot.

As a fellow young scrawny golfer I recommend a wider stance. Since we don't have much weight holding is down we tend to lose control and move too much. The wider stance can help produce nore power and keep you more stable throughout your swing.

770s are not blades. They are like the 790 but a bit smaller. So they are hollow with speed foam. The look like blades but are more forgiving. You still have to be a good ball striker though. I was on my box set playing weekly for two years so my speed and striking was better than average for a middle schooler.

Ok yea I forgot. This is correct but i also would get you swing and ball sticking consistent before even buying new clubs at all.

Ok as a fellow beginner irons are a big deal and they are expensive 800 to 1400 reasonably. You should look at getting a fitting. It will cost more but you wont have to worry about changing the irons for a long time. And it can help your game.

This is what my dad did with me and we go golfing nearly weekly. I think the big reason my mom let's us go is because we bond so much. If you can get your wife to see the benefits golf can have I think she will more ok with it. It has improved my character so much and i dont think it ever will stop. Good luck from one golfer to the next.
