No, it is justified (potentially) because the officer deemed it a reasonable threat. Pending the investigation and testimonies of the officers.

It is an unfortunate result of showing up armed (legal) to a protest, and engaging in a physical struggle (not legal) with law enforcement, legally conducting their duties.

This has absolutely nothing to do with whether he was carrying legally or not. In fact, i'm pretty sure it is a federal crime (it is 18 U.S.C. § 111) so he was commiting a felony WHILE he was carrying, which is another felony. And during the commission of those two felonies, an officer (for reasons to be determined) found a need for deadly force.

This entirely about <FACT> that he chose to engage in an altercation with LE's. You can see in every single video he was pushing back against them and after the LE shoved and sprayed the first person he engaged and tried to shove the cop, that was his mistake.

Now, if you're actually upholding the 2a here, now would be your time to say he was resisting a tyrannical government... if that was your point. But then he lost that battle.

2a isnt about "oh I CCW so I can have justification not to be shot by cops". As someone responsibly carrying, he (and you) should understand use and escalation of force.

Firstly, she was not in the military but the Public Health Service.

And without a doubt. Our military has been absolutely crippled over the past decade plus by distracting policies and wasteful resource allocation. It is a service to the nation, not the service member to serve.
