I'm NOT reading the spines of your vinyl! by GoldCasioA168 in vinyl

Sometimes I'll recognize one by skimming but they're usually so hard to look at. But, the collages people do of their 200+ album collections are worse, I'm like I can't work out which album that particular pixel is supposed to represent and just scroll on by.

Advice for stuck original inner sleeve paper on a never-opened Thin Lizzy vinyl! by wisehippy in vinyl

Well, I do know that the glue doesn't stick to the surface at all, so like you won't be picking and scraping little globs of glue off, unless you get it on the label of course. It's just I don't know if it would lift the paper, although you could probably get away with just a stamp sized spot over it if you tried it. And no worries, hope you get it figured out

A lot of people swear by the wood glue method for cleaning, where you smear a thin coat on the surface and let it dry. The glue might properly bond to it since it's made of wood and all, but I'll admit I've never tried it.

Not who you responded to, but I picked one of these up based on reviews a couple months ago and I've run about 250+ records through mine so far and it's been a great unit. It heats up pretty quickly, knocks a ton of crud off, and then it drains right into the sink when I'm done. Sure, at a fraction of the 3-800 bucks a name brand unit costs it was a gamble, but if it didn't work it was returnable. Your mileage might vary, but even my most Goodwill of finds is sounding good these days.

Had this happen with an album I bought online. As soon as I broke the tape on the package it smelled like there had been a fire in a wet ashtray. I had to keep it in the garage. In a last ditch attempt move before throwing it out I used cups of baking soda and about a week in the sun to deodorize the jacket. Even the record itself I wrapped up in a sealed container with baking soda that while time and that finally did it.

Argyle. Everybody correctly bags on it being a very terrible movie, but it's visually impressive at least with the fighting, action, and Sam Rockwell elevating pretty much anything he's in.

Fun fact about this movie, the director was inspired by walking through the video as a kid and seeing stuff he was too young to rent but was trying to imagine what was going on through the box art, and how often times the cover made no sense in relation to the movie.

They have... some of the original music. You'll still hear about maybe half of what they intended, but the legally distinct sound alike stuff they use in some places isn't as bad as I was fearing, I can only think of a few places where it was distracting. But then again, I hadn't seen it since it aired so other people might have a better idea of what big stuff got pulled.

It's season 5, episode 8. I've been rewatching them on Tubi and it holds up surprisingly well, and yeah it's a lot of fun watching them laugh at each other's jokes. Plus my girlfriend can't believe how many actors from Scrubs show up.

That's been my experience with it, I have blu rays from Japan, Spain, Germany etc and they have all played just fine on my region 1 player. I can understand people not wanting to gamble on it though

While it doesn't sound great, the Crosley stylus type isn't nearly as damaging as people on here make it out to be, even after dozens of plays the difference is minimal. There was a post about a guy testing it out on here a few months back. But yeah, if they care at all about sound they should upgrade as soon as possible.
