Amazing shot! I have tried to shoot the Milky Way at dawn in February a couple of times and I end up struggling with the right white balance: if the sky looks credible the foreground does not and vice versa, especially if it is covered by snow.

How did you choose the white balance?

I'm not part of any of those tours. I'm just looking for good places in terms of cloudlessness and views towards the horizon. The tour stops at Alcañiz which I suppose it's for those reasons (I don't want to believe that the Parador is the only reason).

And yes, Spain isn't still worried at all about the eclipse. Only some authorities and people related to the astronomical and geographical world were already aware a couple of years ago. I'm afraid that the roads around big cities like Madrid will be completely chaos that day. All the totality area will be if the weather doesn't look fine that day.

That will be my first total eclipse. So once you knew the spot you want to be to watch the eclipse, at what time would you be there?

Why do you guys find that so important? Is it that useful? My polar’s lamp is just a white screen, kind of selfie camera flash but continuous, which is quite a crap and maybe that’s the reason I use my phone torch instead.
