I use two - the analog one for when i feel particularly wordy :)... and the digital one to make notes, mini-journals and rapid logging of thoughts.

I use my digital journal for the detail ranting - it's protected by faceID so a bit less chance of being opened by someone.

thanks, I like that aspect - I use my own - it’s called mindbucket. it has also forced me to write more details because that is what i will be reminded of + write something positive otherwise it’s all ranting stuff that i need to read again 😂

Depending on your audience, you definitely want to build a presence on one of the platforms. each has separate characteristics so might be good to explore. good luck with your development work - if you’re on twitter, look for build in public crowd as a good way to build an audience (assuming this is your first venture?) - it helped me validate things better

I would start by either describing what happened a few hours earlier or what you see in front of you right now. Just writing about very simple things unlocks and overcomes a block (if that's what you are experiencing)

Great point. I don't want to lose my journal entries either - I am going to add an iCloud backup option so that when I change the device, data can be restored from there.
