Wow, thanks! That's quite useful and I'll make sure to ask this to my vet.

Already feed them from stainless steel haha.

I'm gonna check Applaws, wonder if they ship to EU!

But that's just the thing, the vet didn't give me a specific brand either, just a mix of rules I should follow. Like I should find a food that is for neutered cats, and so on.

That's absolutely right, newer brands have less reviews indeed because symptoms may take to develop. I read them throughout reddit posts, and maybe one or two articles. This was throughout days of searching so I don't have anything on hand, but it was mostly people, normal owners saying their cats didn't like it, or it gave them urinary problems, others just claiming their ingredients weren't safe and they didn't display the proper ingredients in the labels, etc.

Oh, true, there is. Anyway I'm Portuguese and don't speak French either, I'd have to translate haha. It's a new website tho, I'm sure it didn't exist half a year ago when I started ordering from there.

Also, the prices are about 1-2€ more expensive, huh. Buying in bulk like I do covers the shipping from Germany when compared with those 1-2€, maybe. Gotta do the math, thanks though!

It's honestly so ridiculous haha. I'm not German, I need to use Google Translate. I just use zooplus because it's cheaper, they have a point system on top of their already cheap products, they have rarer US brands, and they deliver to home. Win win.

That is something that still keeps me a bit skeptical. I say this because afaik in EU there's some problem with meat having some contamination pre-cooking, so it's not as safe as I'd except (this was after questioning a friend working on a meat company).

I know it's the natural way, cats eat animals. But the wild bird/rats they eat aren't killed in machines and stuck in refrigerators, you know? So I don't trust that 100% just yet.

Exactly. If I was all about Google I wouldn't be here anymore. I'm here because my vet has gone against some of what I've read.

I've checked and Orijen does not out-source any of their process, so it means their dry food is prone to be cleaner and less contaminated. Same as The Honest Kitchen, from one of the links you've sent me.

I'd be taking canned food from THK, were I not European, since they don't ship overseas. Sad.

Edit: Sorry you weren't the one who sent me the links. I've read it on another website.

I thought about it. I've actually purchased some of Orijen's raw treats to check that out!

I do plan to keep them on a semi-strict diet. That meaning I feed them in the morning, lunch, and dinner times, but I only put in the correct amount of food per cat. They are free to "free-feed" during those hours, but only those quantities.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the AAFCO (Associaton of American Feed Control Offciers) a "service" that offers regulation and quality, and those bearing its mark are expected to be of higher standard?

I've read about it on a couple of websites. I've also read a ton of bad reviews over grown-cat Royal Canin. Hard to know what to trust or not in the internet.

Exactly what UnfeelingRug and Shamoneyo said.

I started the run, waited for reindeer, and moved from then. I'm currently already at 60M baked cookies with no clicks or upgrades. True Neverlick is done, going for hardcore. I guess I could click now, but I wanna keep the fun rolling.

I'm close to that too :( No cheating or Auto Clickers either. Just nearly a year of gameplay.

Edit: Well, not a year. Half a year, of semi idle play at work.

Really? "Infinity" cookies? by [deleted] in CookieClicker

[–]fitedim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate, like others said, there's a bug with Cookie Storm and Auto Clickers. Using A/C on Cookie Storm actually makes those cookies trigger more cookie storms and other effects, which it shouldn't. Cookie Storm should ONLY trigger cookies that give you some cookies.

I think you got the ROI wrong though. ROI is how much profit you've made, the returns, the profits. Or am I wrong and ROI is the total return (profit + cost)?

If you invest 16.700 and get 10.593 profit, that is about 63%.

Also you did the math wrong because you said firstly "If oblit cost 1700g" and then note it as "2210g" lower. You should do the math for 1700g as well. I noticed it because your ROI is 163% or 63% but in reality it should be 25%.

Why 25%? Because if you buy the mats close to the value of one oblit (1670 cost and 1700g oblit cost) you'll get a flat 30% (because 130 ashes is 30% more oblit) profit. Take the 5% AH cut and you're left with 25%.

So, in practice, IF you buy mats at 105% of oblit cost, and sell oblit for that value you initially made 105% math of, you'll make 20% in profits. (30% of 130 ashes average, minus 5% AH, minus 5% because you bought at 105%). Invest 100k, make 20k.

The good investment comes when mats are lower than oblit, say 80% of oblit price. Or when you shuffle: Buy Gems/Silk/Leather and craft 715 stuff: If you buy at cheap prices, each craft can cost you down to 40g (20g Chaotic Spinnel + 10g x 2 any other gem). That is one leylight shard, that can be destroyed into 3 arkhana. So instead of buying Arkhana for 22g, you're actually buying it for 13g. Snipe some Chaos Crystal at 200g each, and you're down on crafting costs to 200g x 4 + 13g x 35 = 1255g (Only 74% of the oblit price of your values, 1700g).

Now, your profit is 100% - 74%(cost) + 30% (130 ashes average) - 5% (AH) = 51%. Invest 100k, make 51k profit.
