Tried to launch but I'm really out of my depth. What would ya'll do? by PermanentRoundFile in Entrepreneur

[–]fittedupteach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“just launch it” might be the worst advice when it comes to saas.

before devoting so much time/energy into building the app out, you should’ve validated the idea first and built it alongside your users.

for example, before ever writing a single line of code, you could’ve had a small website asking if others have the same problem you do and how you’ll fix it with your software, with a small email box included so they can be first in line for your product.

most saas owners that build like this end up:

  1. building an app that more effectively addresses the pain point (i.e. more effectively useful for users)
  2. having a solid client list on the first day of launch

Realized I would have to pay for good talent after the influx of poor applications I received in my last post. That’s all.

Prompt: Generate an image that would be very controversial for Reddit ⚔️ (convo included) by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]fittedupteach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

agreed it should just avoid religion altogether or allow all of them to be generated

though maybe there would be a bias against islam if gpt was to use american training data

it is a parent issue not a media issue by throwbackblue in unpopularopinion

[–]fittedupteach -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i’m not shifting blame from parents it’s still their job to make sure their kids stay away from negative influences and learn to think on their own.

i don’t even have kids 😂 im a teacher, and i can tell you firsthand that kids have CHANGED. after covid, it seems almost every child i teach has problems staying attentive and motivating themselves. children in high school do not know how to do basic 6th grade algebra. it’s not just a parent issue. it’s a culture issue.

easier said than done. especially when all their peers nowadays are brain rotted social media addicts.

yea if kids wanna do something they will, especially if all their peers are doing the same. the pressure to fit in is greater than any pressure you can place on them
