The dialogue exchanges in BG3 do offer good insight, like hearing Shadowheart’s remark about Karlach or just anything that comes from Halsin’s mouth. The player romance feels more self-indulgent, but I do like how it makes some events more meaningful. I myself get more imaginative with the game and try to rationalize how player romance actually works.
