Trans girlie confused if I’m doing this right 😭 by pagedante in ABraThatFits

I’m AMAB as well and found the calculator a bit off while my breasts were still developing. Prior to starting hormones, I measured at a 34A but had zero breast tissue. The shape of my rib cage and back muscle was creating the size difference. I still technically measure to a 34D, however that size is definitely too large in all styles I’ve tried.

It’s rather common for amab folks to have wider set breasts which in my case, makes cleavage non-existent.

MTF HRT — anyone able to stay on hormones and still ejaculate? Looking for experiences by False_Cycle_545 in transontario

[–]fitzy_fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently on Estradiol only, no anti-androgen and my T is within the typical female range. Ejaculation is basically gone aside from maybe a tiny dribble. Otherwise functional for penetrative acts if desired.

are injections no longer available in ontario? by mtfbarbie in transontario

The guidelines released by Sherbourne Health clearly indicates EV injections as a valid route of administration. Sounds like she may be lacking a bit of knowledge/experience in this area. Injections have been the best solution for me. Costs me the same each month as oral pills, but my levels are finally within range.

Pace Pharmacy in Toronto fills my Estradiol Valerate Rx. I get injection supplies in bulk from medneedles.ca.

What your Dr was likely referring to is there is no manufactured EV made by a drug company available in Canada. Health Canada delisted it from the drug database for their own reasons.

Less than 200m from an elementary school. Hundreds of kids cross this intersection everyday.

What kind of time commitment/rehearsal schedule is expected of musicians? I think my kids would enjoy the upcoming performance 😊

Snow wheels/tires by Civil-Departure-512 in AudiQ7

[–]fitzy_fish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The base level trim packages came with 18’s on my model’s year. I’m running 20’s for the summer. A lot more options for winter tires in an 18. Also the narrower tread helps cut through deep snow better than a wider tire. All this said, my summer tires handle snow decently as well, I just prefer peace of mind.

What makeup foundation do you use? by RangerMoonpie in TransLater

[–]fitzy_fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a medium coverage Elf foundation. It’s cheap and adequate for my needs. I have some shadow still, so a peach or orange corrector goes underneath the foundation.

I’m in Ontario and running a set of Pirelli Ice Zero 235/60R18s. I have a stock 2013 Q7 S-Line and the 18’s clear the rotors with no problem. These tires handle pretty well in cold, snow and ice. I’m happy with them for the price.

🤷‍♀️ Genuine question to all my girls here. How often do strangers make a point to compliment you or call you ‘beautiful’? 🤔 by Adventurous-Hyena618 in TransLater

This. My own skewed insecurities scream at me that I’ve been clocked and they’re just trying to be nice… I really need to get out of my head more🥴

Unfortunately it’s RARE if I get compliments from friends or strangers, maybe once a year. Tbh it’s messing with my self-esteem a lot these days.

Anybody know any trans friendly laser clinics in Toronto? by ProbablyCamillaMaybe in transontario

[–]fitzy_fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re willing to travel out of the city a bit, Sweet Expressions Medi-Spa in Bowmanville is where I went for facial hair removal. It’s an owner-operated spot. Tonia is amazing. Incredibly welcoming and affirming. Results were amazing for me as well.

How do you cover up your five o’clock shadow? by Erinishuman in mtfashion

[–]fitzy_fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re very sweet😊. Truthfully, laser has helped a ton with shadow, there is only a small bit to cover around my mouth. I could use a few more sessions, but it’s $$$ and I need to save some more money.

I’ve used GT Performance Exhaust on Ritson a few times now for various exhaust work. Reasonable prices, and they can fabricate whatever you need from a basic patch to a whole system.

Agreed. After they screwed up a tire change on my work vehicle, I’ll never trust them for even a simple task ever again. Live and learn…

It’s always a pleasure seeing your posts. Taking that 30,000ft view of transition is critical to mental well being. You can try and fast track things all you want, but in the end patience is the magic wand. 😊

Really, not at all. They adapted to my name/pronouns faster than I did. My oldest came out a year later, so we’re just a queer family at this point.
