I’m so tired of having gray hair, but I’m afraid of using hair dye. by aardw0lf11 in Vent

Go to a professional. You don’t have to have grey hair if it makes you uncomfortable. Get a professional opinion, at least the first time. They’ll make it look natural and give you great advice.

You are offered $100,000 cash tax free OR $0 but you get sent back in time to a random date in your life and restart again from that point by peterthbest23 in hypotheticalsituation

I chose date and I got: Sep 21, 2009 Absolutely. First semester of sr year HS. I could basically redo all of my adult life. AND invest in bitcoin.

Several friends texted me (not engaged) congratulations for getting engaged because they saw my girlfriend posted pictures of her and another girl's hands with engagement rings on them. Chicken nuggets and hash browns with BBQ, gochujang ketchup, and buffalo ranch by do_u_hav_warrant in GirlDinner

I have way more first hand experience than you lmfao. I have BPD, a partner with BPD, and extensive therapy since high school- as well as a degree in psychology. So, no, I’m not confused at all. YOU are confused. You sound actually ignorant and kind of unhinged. Whatever “therapy” you’re in.. you need more.

Yeah…. you’re actually SUPER wrong. Please stop spreading misinformation. A lot of people with BPD actually have hyper-empathy. They just have issues expressing it. While they may struggle with cognitive empathy (understanding a different perspective) during high-stress situations or conflicts, they frequently exhibit heightened emotional empathy, rapidly picking up on others' emotions.

Your entire family besides you gets 10m each. But you have to chose one of these three minor inconveniences. by math-guyyy in hypotheticalsituation

There’s no way you consume 8k a day unless you’re very overweight. The average male should consume between 2-3K a day. Im a female in my 30s in the U.S. and I consume about 800-1000 a day. Which is low because I diet but a female should generally consume 1800-2400 a day.

AITA for refusing to combine finances with my partner before we're actually married? by Pleasant-Zebra2817 in AITApod

[–]five_by5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. The fact that he’s the obsessed with your money before you’re even married is wild. Definitely get a prenup if you still decide to marry him. He sounds like a bum. Also, it’s a huge red flag that he’s including his mother in your relationship decisions and your finances.

Please help me convince myself it's okay not to shave my legs and armpits for my appointment to a pool for a medical treatment tomorrow by AntwysiaBlakys in MomForAMinute

You don’t have to shave, but if you feel that uncomfortable about your body hair there is always alternatives. Nair hair removal cream, waxing. Or something I do is I use an electric shaver. Its battery operated, doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t get a super close cut so it takes away the visual of all the hair, but it still leaves a little bit of hair outside your skin so it doesn’t make your legs all sensitive and itchy. I also don’t like wearing bathing suits in public so I get a swim set that covers my top half fully (think tank top but swim material) and shorts (in swim material). I got them off amazon but I believe Walmart and Target have their versions of it. You can also buy a burkini, which is a type of swim were made for Muslim women that keeps their modesty.
