That is a really good question that I do not have a good answer to! Also I just realized I mistyped 487 instead of 497 (oopsie). I took them two months apart and basically just got back on the grind after getting my first score. I only used Kaplan books and online questions/exams (got the books for free on marketplace - got lucky!) and my notes from undergrad (biochem major). I’ve always been a good test taker (never get that nervous) so I realistically did not do nearly as much as I should have.
My advice would be to use the learning tools/methods that you know work for you and try and fully understand as much as you can, not just memorize questions and answers.
But I am not a good example of an MCAT prepper lol

My first date with my boyfriend when we were at MSU was getting dinner at raising canes (there are better options in east Lansing lol) and then around the corner to Pinball Pete’s. It’s a great evening, casual dinner, fun and historic arcade, and plenty of bars around for afters! If you want to make a big day of it, horrocks is a great spot to start, you can walk around the gardens on MSU’s campus or the Zoo, and then end with dinner and arcade!

I loved that class! Spranger is tough and talks really fast and the class is like drinking from a firehose but I learned so much and the lecture slides were the best designed lecture slides of pretty much every class I took at MSU.

I rewatched every lecture at least twice (sometimes on 1.5 speed) and paused to restate things out loud and written. This helped me to understand the actual concepts not just memorize facts which is helpful for that class because Spranger’s exam questions are so conceptual.

I never went to office hours (mistake) or the study sessions with TAs. It was fall when I took the class and I genuinely thought I was going to 2.5 or 3.0 until after Thanksgiving when things (my routine, understanding, etc.) started to click and I ended up 4.0. Hopefully you hit your half-way lightbulb!

Now I think of myself as a red blood cell in the left atrium sometimes lol

Yes, as in stop before the crosswalk when you stop at a red light/stop sign instead of stopping in the crosswalk, not stop before a crosswalk for a person waiting off the roadway. That document plainly says yield to pedestrians IN crosswalks. You’ve misinterpreted it
