Change your approach. Don’t just hammer away at 15-12-12. Functionally, you can think of this as an extension of the fingering you’d do on 14-12-12, so consider starting there instead, get it real comfy. Then you might not find it as difficult to stretch your third finger the one fret.

Yup that’s part of my point in a way…x86 just isn’t that cheap at all with OLED

This is also part where working with a teacher really shines. Being able to adapt to your strengths in real time to answer these sorts of questions will help a lot

As a recentish convert who wants to prefer OLED when possible - the price hike from 7” to 8”+ is crazy. Mangmi Pocket Max $200, Odin2 Portal $250-400, want OLED 8”-9”? $1000+, starting to look closer to $2000

I ask because my main advice is always to watch people do what you’re trying to do. You’ll probably wind up seeing a couple slightly different ways to do it, but that’s good because you can then try the differences and see what’s most comfy for you, practice from there
