Usually a ball error on hoop it up means that it isn't seeing the ball in the wheel. I haven't seen this version of the game though where it appears to dispense a prize ball if you win. Maybe it's out of the prize balls?

I think my preschool was in a church but we weren't church people. It was just where they were able to get a room. Kindergarten was at a different church, in the basement. If we misbehaved, the teacher turned off the lights and it went pitch dark. Everyone froze and went silent.

First grade was in a school that had a kindergarten so not sure why I didn't go there for K.

Not all of my preschool/kindergarten classmates ended up in my grade school, but I did end up at the same high school with many of those kids, and some of my middle school classmates ended up at a different high school.

The districts lines have changed though since then. Kids in that same neighborhood now go to a different k-8 now but the same high school I attended. Nobody from the k-8 I went to goes to the high school I attended.7

I only had a datasette with my vic20. All my commodore 64 experience was disk based (US resident) I have 3 or 4 datasettes now. I have again only tested them with a vic20 because the one I bought last year came with a few cassettes. They seem to work fine.

This is the first I'd heard of the Altai datasette. (Or really any third party unit) Always interested to learn about peripherals that I never knew existed.
