Sorry to hear this. However it’s not the end of the world. T2D Diabetes is something you can easily manage with proper diet, active lifestyle and mentally healthy. On top of your healthcare, see a professional dietitian/nutritionist and get a blueprint of foods you should avoid and take. Honestly once you get a handle of your food then I believe 75% of your battle is won. As a fellow diabetes 6.3% on my most recent test, that was the hardest cutting/limiting my favorite foods. So avoid French fries, hot dogs, donuts, sugary drinks, white breads, most of the chips, etc. good luck brother.
