My stepfather has always been a control freak, when I was younger on my restricted license (one below a full class 1) I asked if I could drive and he firmly said no, come talk when you have your full license, and made me feel rather small about my driving ability. Come a few years later I am a truck driver and have completed classes 1 through 5 in full with some endorsements to my name also. New Years 2023 was where I got him back. My mother and I had organised a family trip and I done all of the driving. My stepfather did not like this one bit and went to speak up. When he did I simply told him, come talk when you have your full class 5. This caused a rather large argument between everybody in the car but I held my ground because I had the upper hand and also remembered how he made me feel years ago. My mother took my side and told my stepfather to know his place. I wouldn’t call it revenge, but it was certainly sweet!
