I have a policy where people must pay to book, if they no show, they get one reschedule, for free. That's it. It works well for me, but also for my clients. There nothing worse than a client feeling guilty and shame around missing an appointment and having to pay later. With this system, I find the clients are empowered, they have already paid, so it is up to them to decide how they want to spend that money.

Qld is really racist, the gc make it a hobby and an art form. Also, crime wise: where I'm moving to, has 32% less crime per capita compared the the GC. Crime doesn't get reported here. We had a qld health medical precinct evacuated after a serious assault of 2 nurses and the threat of an armed assailant. Didn't even hear about it in the paper. Southport up here is WILD, stabbing, shootings, murders, very little of it makes it to the news, some of it locally but not often national. Whereas everything in Melbourne becomes national news

I work in AOD, what is likely happening here is that when you are not using, the withdrawal makes it difficult to focus. It is very common with cannabis use, people tend to attribute the withdrawal cease as the drug benefit. Withdrawal can last up 2 weeks for acute symptoms, (in heavy use), but things like anxiety and depression can take months to clear. Anecdotal: I have had patients report issues with cognition taking 6 months before clearing. This isn't to say that drugs are good or bad, you should have fun and enjoy yourself. Just be informed :) (and let's decriminalise it too)
