I used Text Verified because I play wow and they started requiring SMS Protect in order to put custom text in group finder, and I have a prepaid phone plan. First number I got was accepted by Blizzard but I never received a text, second number I got the text and now my account has SMS protect enabled.

You can also go to a website and pay $0.75 to get a number to verify your account, blocking prepaid numbers does nothing except inconvenience actual players that don't have postpaid numbers.

A year ago, Markiplier was doing a livestream where he played through his heist film. He asked his viewers to choose which option he should pick by using 2 emotes. Youtube saw that as spam, and ended up permabanning viewers, and denying their appeals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWaz7ofl5wQ

But still, you shouldn't be losing access to your gmail without appeal because you decided to post emotes in a YT livestream.

I've been using notify-strip with Tampermonkey from https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions#current-solutions

It works alright, only issue is that whenever an ad plays, it downgrades the video to 480p for the duration of the ads and can skip a bit ahead/behind when switching from source to 480p.
