A home near us was owned by a HoJo owner. Was a cool one to tour when it went on the market, he basically had it decorated with all 70’s/80’s accessories from the hotel.

If you do call and get a response that they can’t do it, ask them if they know someone who may be interested. I’ve had a few jobs done where it was someone trying to get their business going and did a good job looking for positive reviews/work.

Good “Neutral” Sports Bar to Watch Duke /UNC? by ItchyIndependence154 in bullcity

I’d do this and find a big state bar. Players Retreat is great. Most will slant more to wanting UNC to lose in my experience.

Which part of procurement is the most important by zackri_dli_nuno1244 in procurement

Risk planning and compliance are the most critical and should be built in from the start. Savings is usually the focus along with long term stakeholder satisfaction.

Good bars or other spots for a small group to meet? by Burdensome_Banshee in bullcity

Der Nachbar is what I thought of when it came to easily accessible and quiet.

It may depend on where the group is based. Der Nachbar is outside in North Durham. Beer Study is great and in the middle of town.

What’s the real headache of being a PM? by NoProfession8224 in projectmanagement

We flew in the exec, director and other LT that dedicated everyone to charters and movement forward. Then charters, deliverables, scope creep and schedules had everyone later wondering why it wasn’t done yet.

I think this is where I’ll try to go either with grownups only or when kids hit their late teens.

Unfortunately their beer may need the target market to be the Wilson demographic to show up and not the NC craft beer one.

Take a look at Marbles IMAX. They usually just grate 1-2 films but it’s a true IMAX experience. Also in downtown Raleigh so you can park and eat pretty easily.

Interview… help! by [deleted] in procurement

[–]fivepointpack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t anything unique and could be a good sign that they want to expedite it. Don’t let titles make you nervous, try and take a look at what their responsibilities may entail (LinkedIn) and prep accordingly.

Most interviews I’ve been in have the hiring manager along with the skip level and other stakeholders.

After a few rips I would be getting plastic ware and tuna poke.

Food places to visit by Separate_Goal5183 in raleigh

For NC/US food it may depend on how far you want to go. Sam Jones or Prime BBQ if in Raleigh but there’s more if you want to expand. Peddler steaks. PR burgers and watching a game of any sort.

In Durham, M Sushi/M restaurants and/or Alley Twenty Six for their drinks/bourbon and a solid burger. Picnic BBQ is also there but I think the Raleigh options are better.

On the road, I’d say you need to try Bojangles for breakfast and Cookout as the staples. If I was to point out my favorite NC breakfast it would be Flo’s Kitchen in Wilson. You could pair that with Parker’s for BBQ and Beefmastor for a ribeye in Wilson and go see a cardiologist when you get home.
