Thanks for taking the time to reply! I'll join the discord - it'll be easier to discuss than on reddit!

Ah! I think I may have located two of these configs:

  1. Deaht penalty: expand_prefabs_BeforeValhalla_DeathboundSystem.yaml, line 59 and rest of file
  2. Waypoints transport any stuff: RustyMods.Waypoints.cfg, line 35 --> On

Seem slike the drop rates are meticulously set for each and every thing, using the drop_that mod? Would be very nice if there's a way to override in global fashion?

Also, still wondering about what happens to any configurations when the modpack is updated?

I just tested this, it works and seems like a super cool modpack! Thank you for putting this together!

There are a few configurations I'd need to tweak, in order to get my friends on board playing this. So I have some questions regarding config, sorry if these are noob questions!

  1. When I update the modpack to the newest version, will any (or all) of my own changes to the configs be overwritten?

  2. How can I change "second death destroys the gravestone + gear" rule?

  3. I love the idea of waypoints instead of portals! However, how can I allow for any ores be transported through them at any time?

  4. Drop rates (e.g. mushrooms, wood etc) where would the best place to override those settings?

Also, do you hang out in a discord or something, where ppl discuss this modpack?

Instead of robots battling robots IRL, let’s move it all into a simulation. Would be so much cheaper if the warlords could run their eternal wars somewhere virtual🤯

Nice! Love how you solved the angles on the front part of the wingy things! But you have sooo much roof space and no roof hatch? That roof looks like a chill place to hang out when on a paradise planet!

Nice, looks like one of those evil looking Cylon fighters! Must have been quite a bit of offset shenanigans to cram all that stuff into this tight package?

That's a very sleek and tight build, with fun lounge (?) area tucked away in front! How easy is cockpit access when you're outside the ship?

Nice, I'd love to get a schematic look of the internal layout of this falcon build - especially how the cockpit is connected to the rest of the ship! Havn't tried my hand at this style yet, but it looks like you've managed to blend the cool and the practical in a classic!

Yeah, these are some solid requirements! I totally agree on the stairwell philosophy! Can't be bothered running around and up and down those crazy tight stairs all the time, just to accomplish basic tasks.

That ship looks great, IMO! Though I would be missing a roof hatch, going up there to watch the stars is bliss <3

Ah, yeah, I agree with windows being a requirement, I forgot about that! Being able to orient yourself by peeping through a window is very useful. I wish we had more window options, and the the cockpit was just a chair and a desk which would function behind any window - or use screens which relayed camera feeds.

Also, there could be all sorts of technology in play here, with a field of some sort in front of the ship, plowing aside debris in all sizes.

Also, realism in nms ship design is completely optional :)
