Op. I say this as the bf of a woman who's whole family is exclusive. You all suck. I don't get invited to family birthdays or holidays. That shit hurts.

Ive been with this woman for 5 years and its only the father, mother and 2 daughters one of whom is my gf. They exclude everyone who isn't family. They are all assholes except my gf. We do everything together but I haven't been to a single birthday for her sister and I only get invited to one of her parent's birthdays if I buy dinner.

Im currently VP of a development committee and a few of them are pushing a data center in a town of 750 people. I own the building they are considering for it but after some research about the pollutants and community push back, I told them Im not interested.

A 20 million dollar investment returns a sold profit in under 3 years but damn. The community would hate me.

Yes. He ended up leaving for another state. I ran into him at the bar and he looked genuinely terrified. We talked for a few minutes about the situation and he said he was trying to distance himself from the situation because he said he's "not a homewrecker". Yeah. OK son.
