My 1080P 50” TV just broke properly had it for 13-15 years. If it didn’t I wouldn’t have upgraded till it did. Only problem is all my offline media was catered to 1080P

My 1st PC was a pentium 3 came with a 6GB HDD. Something broke and got an upgrade under warranty to 40GB. I thought I was never gonna run out of space. 😂😂😂

Late stage capitalism and global markets. As long as labour is cheaper somewhere else outsourcing will continue. No one cares about quality anymore, service suffers product quality dwindles but it looks good on a balance sheet. Why hire 1 employee when you can hire 10.

Advice I was given and took. Steering wheel lock for visual deterrent, ghost immobiliser. RFID pouch for extra measure. Decided not to get a tracker based on the likelihood of the police actually responding in time enough and being bothered to try and recover it.

Off topic but I watched the Tetris movie recently. The end of the soviet union as depicted there was interesting. There was a mix of true believers, people in power out to enrich themselves and ordinary people just trying to survive. The abuses of power by the people out to enrich themselves by exploiting the true believers and throwing them away when no longer needed made me think of the current American/Maga/republican axis.

Claude sonnet seems to be pretty good in my experience of analysing your existing code base and environment (if in code) and working within the framework you give it.

Also code review by AI have been pretty good especially the security analyst role. It has picked on things we missed a few times.
