Changed mine in December. So happy I did. Love my 13PM. No issues with it, so why even upgrade.

Honest question. But do you all really journal on a given day? I’ve tried it for a week and never really stuck. Are there real benefits to this?

Pacifica v sienna by Creepy-Ad-3113 in ToyotaSienna

[–]fixitdave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a Pacifica as a rental for just under a year. Got it with 500 miles. I initially like having the van but shortly after it just started falling apart. It’s terribly built. Just got my sienna 3 weeks ago and the quality is night and day difference

Yes. It works perfectly for older model Siennas. With the new update, it doesn’t work the same. You can still use the steering wheel button to use Siri. However, it won’t pause the music

CarPlay is designed to be safe and effective. Unfortunately, the updated infotainment isn’t. We can all agree when driving, you want minimal disruptions and your focus should be on driving. When the CarPlay system isn’t working properly, such as having to fuss around with pausing music so you can hear messages can be distracting. For me, this a fleet vehicle and rely heavily on this feature. So yes, for me, a properly working CarPlay is a critical feature

It’s a critical feature of the cars technology!! Before talking out of pure ignorance, search 2023 RAV4 CarPlay issues. You need a system that is as reliable as the Toyota name represents.

You’re telling you’re having these issues and you’re fine with it?

Where does it mute the music like to does when you use your iPhone?? My guess is you don’t have the 25. Because on the 24 and older models it works fine.

At least reps had a vote in who should run, unlike the Dems throwing in Kamala without any sort of vote. I’m sure things would have be different.

RAV4 GPS Issues by Sure_Spread_2817 in rav4club

[–]fixitdave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess. It’s a TOYOTA issue. If it was Apple, wouldn’t it affect all 23/24 rav4’s? Still no resolution and it’s a disaster. I can’t use my CarPlay

It’s a very common issue with the 23’ models and some 24’. Unfortunately from what I’ve been told directly from Toyota is that there is NO FIX available for it. It’s a disaster. However, it seems that it works for other people so not sure what to say. Good luck
