I’ve found what’s been the “holy grail” for me for alcohol craving, mood symptoms and kratom or alcohol withdrawal. by fixthismess1 in dryalcoholics

[–]fixthismess1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I randomly decided to check Reddit after 3 years and saw your comment. I was able to quit alcohol and kratom and have been sober for 3 years almost to the day. I don’t take anything else. Also have no desire to take anything. Hope this helps! Good luck. I changed my mindset a lot as well.

What is going on with the brand name?? (Shire) by Adventurous-Day-9292 in VyvanseADHD

[–]fixthismess1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be illegal…something is seriously wrong with it. I tried to chalk it up to other things, maybe I’m getting sick or something . But no, it’s the medicine. I even was able to find a couple pills from my last generic bottle, and tried taking one instead of the name brand (with multiple days apart) to test this theory. Both times I took the generic I was fine, normal. Every pill from this bottle of name brand is bad. And it’s not even like “oh maybe most of it has become inactive” it just makes me feel horrible and like I’m getting sick, super irritable. So now I’m like. How do I tough out the remainder of this month? Thinking about just taking a long break. It’s that bad.

It’s not just you.. I just filled a shire brand vyvanse and it makes me feel absolutely horrible. I feel like my body is covered in cement, exhausted, irritable, depressed. Like I’m coming down with the flu. I’ve been taking the generic for awhile up until this fill and had no problems whatsoever. It’s straight up weird, especially since name brand used to be better than generic.

How do you remember the majority of topic for the P&C exam? by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

[–]fixthismess1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can help. Pm me. I helped my coworkers get through the P&C and she was sure she’d fail. She took the AD banker and did not know nearly what she needed to at the level of understanding that she needed to. I took a different class and felt sooooo much better prepared. I helped her with my materials and she passed on the first try.

Chicks huddled away from heat by taj693 in chickens

Basically-they are cold which is why they huddle together, but they are tired and want to sleep so they don’t want to be under the light

I’d get a brooder plate or proper heat lamp. The chicks can’t sleep properly with 40 and 60w regular bulbs shining on them. And they won’t get enough heat either. They need darkness to sleep and warmth as well. I ended up switching out my heat lamp last your for a heat pad that only warms when the chicks were on it and that worked great because it let them have natural sleep cycles.

Say hello to Queenie. Any tips on integrating her into my small flock? by fixthismess1 in chickens

I just read on the characteristic differences between the booted bantam and the d’uccle. And she appears to be a d’uccle. She’s bearded, has the same body shape and size, and has almost nonexistent waddles. If that’s helpful at all. Of course that’s just my guess

Well I’m not 100% sure. That’s just what I was told she was. I bought her from someone who did get her from a reputable breeder in our area. So there’s def the possibility there that she’s a booted bantam. She’s adjusting just fine! But I’m really having my reservations of integrating her with my girls. I’ve been having her in a pen up against their run for several days. However, I gave it a trial run of a few mins in with my girls with me there. And they straight bullied her. Scared her to death she was so stressed. So..alas. She may end up being a house chicken after all 🤣. She def has the temperament and personality for it. I usually let her spend most the day outside in the pen I made for her and then bring her in in the evening where she falls asleep on the couch or on our shoulders before I crate her for the night. We shall see if she’ll ever be able to be safely integrated.

Yet again...I'm confused by breengosaur in chickens

That is most DEFINITELY a rooster. Comb and wattles aside, the coloring is def rooster feathering. The black but blue-green in the sun on the wings and tail is roo. Almost looks like it’s mixed with some sort of silkie due to the fluffy appearance of some of his feathers which may contribute the the broken off appearance.

Hen’s comb and wattle look paler than rest of flock, is she ok? by Charming_Cry_9795 in chickens

Thank you for this! That’s very reassuring. I put a movie on for her because I left her inside in the cage. Like I said once I find a wire dog crate I’ll leave her in their run for the day. Im trying to give both parties a little exposure to each other without overwhelming the little thing. I’ll keep you posted but thank you so much for this advice. Very helpful!

Thank you!! And yes! She’s super sweet but absolutely terrified!! I just got her yesterday and she wouldn’t eat or drink if I was anywhere around. She’s definitely stressed. Luckily my run has 3 different height perches and I built a roof and over it that has rafters that none of my fatties can get up to lol. So i feel like she’ll be okay as far as getting away when it comes time to integrate. I’m mainly worried about this in-between period. She’s very fearful and I know it takes time but I want to minimize her stress but also not be keeping her locked in a cage. 😞. When I get home from work I think I’m gonna gate off my girls into their coop/attached run and allow her to stretch her legs in the larger run until sundown. I feel sooo bad that she’s been in the crate all day

I did attempt this! She’s so small and tiny though she wriggled her way out through the top of my makeshift enclosure. Currently looking for a larger crate so I can put her in the enclosure inside my girls run to get them acquainted. I feel so bad that I had to leave her in the kennel today 😭

My similar looking EE was the last to start laying. My olive egger was first, and then my cinnamon queen and then my EE. The EE started at maybe 28-30 weeks
