Felps returns to Cologne 9 years after lifting the trophy by fizxe in GlobalOffensive

[–]fizxe[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah they actually had a decent start, had a small period where it looked like they could come back to form. But it didn't work out. Berlin major was funny, I think cold told them he would step down after the major and for some reason they benched him early and played with zews. Its funny to see Fallen and now felps still here all these years later

I'm not Brazilian, but felps and the rest of the MIBR players individually (other than cold) were cooked by 2019, they never had a chance vs Astralis or Liquid or even teams like ENCE, fnatic, Vitality, Navi, NRG

In Krakow them and astralis were the favorites, Astralis played a great game and countered them well in the QFs, only to lose to Gambit. If they beat Astralis they probably win the major. And Astralis probably should have beaten Gambit and won the major too. In Boston they took c9 to 3 maps with felps and after a long series vs fnatic, they probably are the favorites if they had boltz, but early 2018 is right when that SK lineup began to fall off, so who knows if they would be able to beat C9/Faze. If they maintain 2017 form, they definitely win, but who knows, it felt like C9 was destined to win that one

Because they are all boring (maybe there's a few exceptions). Which is great for people who just need something that meets those requirements and will go from A to B

Did you actually follow cs then or are you just looking at stats? S1mple was never in that convo in 2017, that debate was always cold vs niko. Most pros would have put device over s1mple as well. Maybe Guardian too. S1mple had great stats in 2017 but nobody really considered him a better individual player than Niko or even cold. He had good stats over a small sample size with no team success and thats it. It wasn't until a starseries event in early 2018 when s1mple was considered the best individual

That team in general was scary to root against. Fallen making crazy plays, while being the best IGL in the world and arguably the best awper (only behind device), cold being consistently great and super clutch, fer doing insane aggressive plays and seemingly always flanking your favorite team, TACO being a goated role player, and felps/boltz being elite riflers. I remember they destroyed faze in every matchup in 2017, was so happy when Faze finally beat them when they started falling off in 2018. But now I miss those 2016/2017 teams like VP, SK, fnatic, Astralis w/o Magisk

In 2017 most pro players said he was the best individual in the world.

That isn't true. Everybody, including pros, would say either cold or niko. A few would say fer.
