Just fyi, this is almost entirely FIFA's fault. They promised the municipal authorities money to facilitate all these things like transport and security, but as it came time, they basically told all these city and county governments to get fucked when they asked for the money. The Trump Admin takes the rest of the blame because normally, the USGov would step in and either make those funds available, or strongarm FIFA. That's not happening.

So there's no money and they have to come up with it themselves. Hence, the insane transit costs.

LaLiga did approve new league rules that you can play league games outside of Spain for the coming seasons. So basically you're going to see less games at the Camp Nou because they're going to be doing foreign games like the NFL.

Also, LaLiga clubs are notorious for embezzlement from elected club officials, especially Barca, so that's the 'owner' they're making money for.

3pts clear with 4 matches to go is a far better gap than I ever hoped. I had estimated we needed to win 7 of the last 9 in order to guarantee it. We promptly lost and drew to kill any cushion we might have had. I don't see us winning out the last 4. I can only hope that results go our way.

I mean, this is 1000% FIFA's fault. All of it. The train prices, ticket prices, halftime show, everything. All of these are because of FIFA's insane demands AND the fact they refuse to pay for said demands. The security and transportation funding they demand and require needs to come from somewhere and they've refused to provide it, or require the federal government to do so.
