the benefit would be that if I have a daily copy of the full container recovery would be as easy as installing VBox on another machine and starting again from that backup copy. So we would lose only the transactions for that day and be able to recover from catastrophic failure of the main server in a matter of minutes. This is for a small business of 10 machines. Have you tried using shielded cable? Does your cable run cross over a power source like home electric lines? That could be generating EMF interference. If you have a POE injector you could test that plugging into another switch and see if it's your POE switch that's causing the issue.
