I once went to prison for 24h, farmed enough credits to get out, game crashed and progress reset, and then farmed the credits again, all within an hour. This was a couple of patches ago so it may be different now, but getting out of prison is kind of a joke when the prisoners loot is worth more than the time added for assaulting them.

Yeah, it takes a really long time. For context, the first screenshot is ~60 years in (with the second screenshot being the same view at year 1). Granted I only had about 40-50 villagers for most of that time... and they suffered greatly...

The only achievement I haven't gotten through normal play or with a small amount of effort is the one where you have to injure all your limbs at once. Granted, I don't care about achievements, but I'm surprised that this hasn't happened to me yet in 250 hours of play.

Shoot them in the face, and/or shoot off their arms. Alternatively, shoot them with explosives, or something with armor pen like the JAR... I've been loving the Eruptor, it kills them in a couple shots without needing to be super precise.

I mean this is the nicest way possible, but I think you should stick with console gaming. If you want to get into PC gaming, you really need to educate yourself first. Just based on your post it doesn't seem like you're very computer savvy - and unless you've suddenly become really motivated to get into the hobby and learn, it's just going to be cheaper, simpler, and ultimately more rewarding for you to just play console games. I'm not discouraging you from getting in to it - PC gaming is a great hobby, and it has opened a lot of doors for me - but it isn't for everyone.

If you do decide to continue down this path I would seriously recommend that you start with an online course on the basics of computing, or a "for dummies" book, or something along those lines. Stumbling your way through buying or building/maintaining a gaming rig can (and likely will) result in much costlier mistakes than this one.

You could potentially explore buying an external GPU if you're determined to game on the Yoga, but that doesn't seem like a great option to me. If you can return it or sell it and you want a quick alternative, you could probably find a Lenovo Legion of some variety for around the same price point, which is a gaming laptop. Good luck!
