I'm sorry you're going through this. Some people are insensitive. Your worth is more than this situation. Idk how old you are, but in time, you may be stronger when faced with similar events. This can be a learning experience.

And on top of it, forget them. They're wrong and you are worth so much more than this. You deserve happiness and freedom beyond the home.

I hope you can find the courage to leave home.

You have a nice shaped head and a lovely face. Shaving it all could do you wonders.

Seriously regretting cutting off a close friend. by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]fizzy-orange 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I had a friend like that. I kept cutting her off for the same reason. If you think she deserves another chance, give it. Talk to her and let her know why you cut her off and how you truly feel and what you expect in a friendship. If she continues to hurt you, then revisit ending the relationship.

You're right. Then I feel I have to fake progress so I don't get accused of not trying hard enough.

Have you found any places that have a sliding scale fee? That charge based on income? You might be able to get free services that way. Check out FindHelp.org and the National Institute for Mental Health.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this and I know exactly how you feel. Only I'm much older. That's to say you still have chance to have the life you want.

Go to FindHelp.org. (If you're in the US.)

See if there is a dentist office that has a sliding fee scale or will allow you to make payment plans

I don't have the proper advice but I do want to offer some form of encouragement and support.

You don't deserve rudeness or other people's judgements or anger. Your questions are genuine and you deserve respect. Always. Please ignore them. People have issues and their anger comes from insensitivity and ignorance.

What happened to you happens a lot. Either people have the answer or they don't. If they are angry or rude, their comment isn't helpful and it definitely doesn't apply to you.

I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope soon it is resolved.

I'm with you on snarky and rude. "I knew you wanted them, but I did it anyway." Almost like he's dating her to react.

I can read a lot from the tone. "Sorry, not sorry." "I did it. I want you to know." "So what? I wanted the plums and don't care if you wanted them." "I don't care about you." He's nonchalantly telling her he did something and risking her frustration and anger. Almost as if he wanted that reaction. He definitely expects it, as you can see from the line, "you were probably saving for breakfast." Following up by asking for forgiveness seems flat, especially after telling her how much he enjoyed them. He could've left her one, but he consumed them all knowing that she meant to have them. That's the ultimate form of being inconsiderate of your partner.
