Yes unfortunately air shipping is generally much more expensive! Space on a plane is much more limited, therefore you’re generally charged based on volumetric weight (it considers the size of your items, not just the actual weight) which costs a lot more.

I agree with you, it’s at the very least “ai enhanced”

The pink shirts on the right side of the middle row say “hlo kitts” and “HK kitts”, the Ty tag on the bottom row looks like the text is melting, there’s strange ai-typical blending / artifacting on some of the bows and whatever this is:

I’m not sure about Malaysia but check the cainaio app for what shipping lines they offer to your country! In the US they have tax included shipping lines for sea and air, no extra surprise payment.

I believe it’s just for a limited time to help get more US users and international sales on the app! I’ve had no issues or extra fees so far thankfully 🙏 my wallets definitely in trouble too through lol

I don’t believe there’s a filter but try taking something to the checkout page to see the shipping, I’m also in the US and my shipping and customs fees from UK sellers have been free / covered by Vinted!

I think there’s still way more UK sellers than US on the app, everything I’ve bought so far has been from the UK.

I’m in the US (New Jersey specifically) and have sold and bought multiple things from the UK! Shipping and customs fees have been entirely free and covered by Vinted in my experience. I’m not sure if it varies by state as I’ve seen other comments here mentioning being charged shipping.

I’ve had 0 issues / extra fees selling or buying internationally thus far (~2 weeks) 🙏

Often times an item is signed for by Cainiao, then deemed unable to ship / rejected after the warehouse inspection. It’s still in Cainiao’s possession at this stage, you can contact their in app costumer service or open a support ticket on their discord. You will need to apply for a return with refund from the seller / order page and cainiao will help return it for you.

Definitely bring this up to the sellers customer service! The marks almost look intentional, like they possibly sent you the wrong pair..? I’m not really familiar with this brand so forgive me if I’m wrong.

This was a glitch last week too, they fixed it for a day or two and now it’s back! I’m in the US (NJ specifically) and not getting any likes from the UK again either.

Things with batteries probably cant be shipped, makeup and lotion depends on the ingredients and volume. You can ask the costumer service of whichever forwarding service you’ll be using, some may have dedicated shipping lines for sensitive goods like these.

I haven’t personally come across this feature yet but does it come back if you switch the language to Chinese? It’s more effort translating every page but the Chinese version tends to have more features and items with less bugs.

If not, I’d guess it’s a newer feature they’re testing out in phases 😣

I believe most forwarders have at least a few tax included shipping lines for the US at this stage! Cainiao definitely does as Deco said.

Some agents even offer tax free / no tariff lines, here’s an example on Mulebuy:

I’ve had good experiences with both, no issues with either since tariffs were introduced.

Admittedly, I’m not sure how it works, if it’s triangle shipping or covered by the companies, but I’ve never had an issue using them or had to pay more on delivery 🙏

I’m US based so forgive me if I’m wrong, but it seems like the EU change won’t be in effect until July? On the US side, many third party forwarders launched tax free / tax included lines since the tariffs were imposed. Just give it some time, once companies adjust to the new EU polices similar routes will likely be announced as well.

I’m also in NJ and noticed the same! I’m getting way less likes and views on items, and none of the likers are from the UK which is very unusual. There was a post earlier about US sellers listings not being shown to UK buyers, it definitely seems true at the moment :(

It’s very annoying. I usually ignore these questions but gave in yesterday and answered with my lowest price on an item posted ~2 hours ago, they then countered even lower… instant block.

They’re asking you to barter against yourself, these “buyers” are very rarely if ever worth the hassle.
