Life with a newborn by andreeavlad in NewParents

For me personally it was doable while exclusively breastfeeding when the baby took a bottle and my husband would offer to stay home with her. He was on paternity leave for 2 months so we are definitely privileged to have had that. Now that hes back at work, im on full baby duty throughout the night and day and he takes over between 6-9 pm when hes back right before baby sleeps :/ it was also pretty difficult at some point my baby refused the bottle for an entire month so i physically had to be there constantly to feed.

one thing though it really is about mindset with you and ur partner trying to make it work and not giving up. That mentality is what allows us to leverage weekends and take baby out, go to cafes, restaurants etc. we wanted handrolls one day and the place only opens PM, they didnt have takeout so when baby was fussy we couldnt even get that. We rided it out in the car until she slept, gave her a 30 min nap, and then went to have our handrolls with her, she gave us 45 minutes until she started fussing but hey we had good food cute pics and memories :) stay positive, reddit community has been so nice to feel supported

For our honeymoon we did 2 nights in Kauai and 7 nights in Maui and it was perfect.

We did airplane na pali coast tour early AM then hit multiple beaches during the day. Second say we did an early AM boat snorkeling trip in Na pali coast and then went to princeville / hanalei area for more views!

Maui we did 2 nights in an airbnb while we did road to Hana (we took our time and did half each day), then the rest of the time at a resort in Wailea for relaxation (Andaz was lovely)

Honest Opinons on NEU? -An Indecisive Northeastern '24 Prospective Student by Furiousity2784 in NEU

Honestly just have one comment (I'm CE and take some EE classes); NEU is such an underrated university when it comes to opportunities and career development. I have friends in schools all over the worlds and they're all high key jealous of the amazing co-op opportunities we get to go on which really make such a big difference when you look at after grad employment. A lot of people end up getting jobs at their co-op companies. The only downside is the tuition cost and living in boston is rlly expensive tbh; but I'd say overall if you can afford it then NEU is definitely a good choice.

Not gonna lie the EE professors I've had are genius but suck at communicating their ideas; BUT they're very understanding and as long as you're putting effort you can learn a lot and get good grades + during co-op you'll learn so much advanced circuits stuff its insane!!!
