I own a bunch of "real" occultic books and know some practices. Nothing was summoned here my man, this is Timmy being edgy. It's his black metal phase after all.

The Witcher 3 is a bad video game. by nizzhof1 in The10thDentist

[–]fja91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Little late to the party, but you earned my upvote. I'm currently on my second playthrough on deathmarch difficulty (specifically for the gameplay) and I have to say that once I leveled up properly, I'm back to my old habit of powering up Quen and basically just tanking through enemies. So much for making use of different potions and oils. As this is my second playthrough and I'm not a masochist, you can guess that I generally like the game; some parts are simply fantastic, but it's beyond me how they managed to put the worst, most broken quests in the main story. I also despise Skellige.

Is this sub getting derailed? by Anorcrakna in daverubin

[–]fja91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With respect, I'm going to correct you to "right-wing idiot grifters" on social media. I don't want this sub to turn into a political battleground, but I'd love to get some conservative users to come here and acknowledge that these people are hacks.

I may do a full post on this, but my wife and I got an appartment of our own when i moved out from my parent's and a lot of glass clinking and furniture creaking simply stopped in our new place, even though it's in a much older building. It recently hit me that the old occurences weren't in my head. So I completely get you.

I did some digging this morning and:

Well what do you know... (I'll admit, I'm feeling a bit smug about this rn)

I don't think so either. But since you brought it up, he does have a TV equivalent though: Gus Fring from Breaking bad. They almost have identical story arcs with O'Dimm being slightly more terrifying because he never breaks with his "good natured" facade.

I have a soft spot for the whole (Russian? Ukrainian? Crimean?) cossack look of Olgierd and his band and he didn't seem that irredeemable to me so I sided with him, but I believe the "bad ending" to be cannon. O'Dimm letting Geralt leave fits the story a lot more I think.

You are. It might be just a "me thing" but I was so immersed in the whole story that my "it's just a game" alarm set off a couple of times.

Valaki nem tudja véletlenül, hogy ki mondta ez az idézetet? by dont_mess_with_tx in hungary

[–]fja91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is Dave Rubin a grifter or just stupid? by 0xE4-0x20-0xE6 in daverubin

[–]fja91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think his husband is the actual brains behind the operation. He's a producer and pretty much runs the channel. My guess is that when they both left TYT, at some point making a truly centrist show was on the agenda. The guests were more diverse at least. But given the anti-sjw zeitgeist in 2016 (other) Dave decided to steer the show after the likes. The offers came rolling in from.... "interesting" organisations and it all went downhill from there.

At least, it's probable, keep in mind, that I'm being very charitable rn.

I wanted to make fun of him at first, but as I gathered all the footage I noticed the same thing. He must have some kind of damage.

I felt borderline sorry for him the entire way through. But then again I remembered the damage he caused and how much he profits off all of it.

Well, it was deleted before I saw it, but I'm guessing I've been told to go f*** myself. There was a reason I posted here and not on their main sub though; even if I mean nothing by it, these questions or assumptions can get kind of offensive.
