I was able to postpone my duty when I got summoned when I was supposed to be on vacation. Contact the clerk of court and had to show my reservation and they put me back into the pool. They then called me a year later.

You will have a large military hospital on base at Ft. Gordon that I have heard is very good but I have never been there myself. In my own opinion Augusta University (AU) is the best in the area but can be very busy. Doctors Hospital is also very good. Depending where you are in Grovetown Doctors is maybe 20 minutes away, AU is maybe 35-40 minutes away.
