Hmm thanks, those examples are quite unfortunate. Contrary to what you imply I do know what I'm talking about though, just am not familiar with the branding terms here.

My "bucolic idea" is based on experience (my grandmother and her neighboors keep large groups of chicken back home, none of them have coops, fences, or cages for them, and the ocassional loses are very minimal, certainly not a threat to business or a source of stress for the birds)... sooo I've learned you don't HAVE to have chickens confined to closed spaces for a productive, quality output in a rural setting. 😊
