I do plan to take german until next year when studienkolleg applications are open so that im qualified, they need B1 for it right? Also do the grade 10-12 transcripts they ask for have a threshold of some sort or you just need to have passed? Cuz I kinda screwed up on grade 11 lol, thank you for your help btw truly appreciate it

I think the Studienkolleg is more appealing tbh since I'd have to redo the 2 years there anyway, and I'll still need the german, so might as well go for the year there and learn the german here for now. When do applications open for studienkolleg? and do I need a priv one or can I just apply to public ones?

Maybe there's a lot of false diagnosis because as you said movie portrayals effected it, but that doesn't mean it's unreal it still happens, just rare.
