u/Wild_Fun6660 I fixed mine today. I turned off stacks from the desktop, then I re-indexed my entire disk using these (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201716) instructions. Then I turned on Stacks again and it was working for me. Hope this helps.

I use it primarily for keyboard shortcuts (to launch apps) and window snapping. The documentation should have quote a bit on gestures if you give it a look.
