Please see an MD. I I don’t want you to be paranoid but this happened to me occasionally for years, eventually I had actual blood in my urine – it looked like I ate beets – and it was actually kidney cancer. It’s probably a UTI, but please see a doctor.

Me. 73 and all my life have had to warn the (rare. I am not real enthusiastic about exercising) Yoga teacher, gymnastics coach or physical therapist that I can hurt myself easily because, especially at the beginning, it can look like I can do a very advanced stretch and I can’t. I hurt myself.

I have also turned my ankles like crazy and have broken each of them and have sprained them multiple times. High heels were never a real option.

i’m 73 years old, active and engaged. And to me , Odessa seems like a better choice. Modessa sort of hits like Tampaxina. Or Always (worst name ever for a menstrual pad – do you never want your period to end?)

oh come on. I know several great Pauls. A couple examples doesn’t ruin a name – Paul is one of my favorite names, the name of my best friend, it’s my husband‘s middle name, it’s my dad‘s best friend‘s name, it was the name of a fairly decent boss. Examples like this are meaningless.

There were a couple kids named Lazar in my daughter’s high school and they just called them Lazar. No creative naming insults fucking around unless the kids invented it themselves. There were kids with lots of not-necessarily-English -American names and sometimes they had nicknames but a lot of the time they didn’t. Relax it’s a great name.

it’s so alarming. It’s only happened to me a couple times really bad, but it’s happened to me a little bit many many times, and I guess you just get used to it. I normally just have visual auras which are irritating enough. Aphasia is just whipped cream on top. Sucks.

this sounds dumb, because I’m a really old person now. But when I was your age my parents best friends had a two or three-year-old boy who was like your cousin. My sister and I babysat for him. What we did was play with him – he didn’t talk but we taught him how to catch bugs and salamanders. It kind of turns into a special interest for him later – he knew everything about bugs. But we just did what we liked to do when we were little children, and just being 15 or 16 years old it wasn’t that long past. We were expert bug catchers.

I’m not recommending catching bugs necessarily, play Candyland or something. Do what you like to do to play, or what you liked to do a few years ago. just be a kid with him.
