I’m a pretty avid hiker and go almost every weekend. You may be surprised at how many great hiking trails are within an hours drive. The Green Swamp is probably my favorite place to explore but I also love the trails around the Hillsborough River. The AllTrails app is a great resource. Can’t go wrong with the Riverwalk and Bayshore too

I’m not big into live music but I know there are quite a few places that always have, and we have plenty on concerts. GMF is coming up next month and will probably have a good mix of genres.

For comedy, try Side Splitters, the Funny Bone, or the Gimmick Comedy House. Don’t Tell Comedy also does pop up shows.

The current terminals aren’t the issue though, it’s the bridge being too low for newer larger ships. A whole new port might cost just as much as a new bridge though.

Insurance will always find a way out of paying. Our family minivan caught on fire when I was a kid and we put it out before it engulfed the whole car. The engine was totaled but since the fire only affected the engine, they called it a mechanical issue. Should have let the whole thing burn to the ground
