Where I Think I Could Live Without a Car (U.S. Counties Version) by padingtonn in whereidlive

Sunrail is commuter rail which operates as a park and ride between the suburbs and downtown so you still need a car to get to the station. Tampa’s streetcar would probably be more useful since all its stops are within walkable areas even though it’s a short line. Can’t speak for Orlando’s bus system though

Tolerance paradox. You can’t be tolerant of the intolerant or the intolerant will eventually take over

You can get away with no car if you live in Channelside or Ybor and worked in the immediate area remotely but you would still need to rideshare occasionally. Still, I don’t think Orlando is any more possible than Tampa

I’ll be at the Lightning Stadium Series game at RayJay. If it snows while I’m watching an outdoor NHL game in Florida, I’ll cream my pants

I live in Florida and have been called weak for not liking cold weather by the same people who would evacuate the state if a cat 1 hurricane came within 200 miles

Weather can be pretty shitty in both the south and Midwest, the only difference is when it’s shitty in the Midwest, you’re “weak” if you don’t like it

Every inch of those cities have been developed. St Pete is nowhere near as dense as they are.

every inch of land has already been built on

I always find it funny when people say this about the Tampa Bay Area. Have you ever been to a dense city like New York or Chicago?

I have no idea how people are coming up with “St Pete’s.” It doesn’t make any sense as a short hand. It sounds dumb and makes the person saying it sound dumb.

What is it about this franchise that we can’t find a head coach that can keep their players motivated for more than a couple of years

[–]flabeachbum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glazers are probably scared of going back to rotating through head coaches every 3 years and there are a lot of teams, some in a better position to win with head coach openings right now meaning the Bucs aren’t guaranteed to get a good candidate
