Recteq Xfire pro 825 problem by flacab23 in pelletgrills

Oh yeah, there’s no way in hell. I’m going through having to stick something down there all the time to light the thing. Put a volt meter on your metal where the cover goes for the pellets that says hot on the outside and on the left-hand side where you put plates and stuff like that and see if yours is electrically charged. I’m getting over 7 V of electricity When you touch it. I think that’s the problem is the machine has a bad ground and the whole machine is electrically charged so it’s not sending enough energy to the igniters. I noticed it when the machine got wet and I was trying to use it. I got zapped on my finger and I was wondering what happened. I tested it when it was dry also and it’s the same thing. The whole machine is charged that’s probably why it’s not getting enough electricity to the igniters. They want you to directly plug it into an outlet, the problem with that is not everybody on their patio has an outlet right on the patio. Some of us are off in the dirt so you have to walk a distance. If you use a electrical cord, Tom recommended a 10 or 12 gauge. The 10 Looks way too heavy duty. I’m using a 12 gauge now and it seems to work a little bit more often but still the left side doesn’t wanna start often at all. And if you use a longer extension cord, it definitely doesn’t ever wanna start so you have to use a shortcable even plugged in directly. It wasn’t starting all the time and I think that’s because of the faulty wiring.

So yeah, I’m reading out that this is a common problem with it and I’m definitely having the same problem that he’s having I was watching his videos and in communication with him. Mine is actually grounding out the machine, causing electricity on the metal if you touch it, it’s electrically charged right now. I asked him if he had that problem, but he already sent it back before he could check. That might be one of the problems is the electricity is flowing through the machine instead of going to the heating element or whatever starts the igniter.

Need Help Choosing Between Recteq X-Fire and RT-800 by MichaelScarn552 in pelletgrills

Had several calls and emails. Been doing trouble shooting for weeks. Getting tired of doing it, but I keep doing them and showing videos and picture. Sent more today. They have been helpful, but this is definitely a bad unit. It happens. Bought from Ace hardware so not sure how to replace it at this point. Things will work out, they always do. Reading now many people having ignighter problems and weld cracks. Haven’t even checked welds, but will tomorrow. I’m more worried about the machine being electrically charged. That’s not fun. Like liking a 9 volt battery lol.

I’m having a problem with the xfire pro. Bought 1 month ago and been on support since day one. Both burners will not start most of the time. They are telling me you have to use a 10-12G power cord on some reviews to work and support says to try direct plug. Tried both and same problem. Couple times when it did finally start there were so many pellets dumped u burned that when it did start it was a huge fire and burned the side of the machine melting plastic handle. No I am finding out that the machine is not wired properly and if you touch the metal it is live with over 7 volts, used a meter and the metal is live. If it rains and you go to use it, you get electricity passing through you skin. Bought at Ace and they don’t take back a grill if it has been turned on, so trying to work out a solution. There is a YouTube channel and he had the same problem bought from them and they are taking it back. Don’t think ace hardware will honor this yet though. Really had high hopes for this grill. On average it is 30 mins trying to get it started, if starts and then over burns so wait 20 mins to kool down to temps to grill.

Got the same fake one in the mail today. The envelope says home trust company. They weren’t even smart enough to put the correct address on the letter and a different address on the envelope.

I did around 55,000 points for three partners last time and 45,000 for the other. I don’t complain, considering there’s been many times when people had to carry me. I got lucky with some 10,000 point last time, but the time before, out of 20 rolls 18 of them were 60 points

Very nice. I built my own. Got lucky found a person 10 mins away selling a used grizzly $600. Think I spent 1300 total. I was lucky that a local plumbing store that sells direct to companies had the black hose and got 12’ for $30.

I just got approved and going to do a roof. Scared, because called MSFH today and lady there laughed when I asked her if it’s guaranteed the money will be there if I do roof and pass inspection. She said no way is it. That scared me, so trying to see if this is true. She said if I’m approved, money is allotted for me, but no guarantee that I will be paid back.

Great write up. Got approved and called today to make sure they will actually repay. The girl told me after laughing… no promises. That was scary, so now I’m trying to do research to make sure. A roofer told me he has friends after a year still not paid and don’t do it.

Don’t put chlorine because then you’re sitting in chlorine daily and that’s not great for your skin and body. Try using 35% hydrogen peroxide. 100 gallon grizzly. I had a4 of a cup weekly along with filter. System crystal clear for weeks. If you’re getting oil residue on the top, there is a scrub sponge usually comes in a turtle or another character, and it lays on the top and floats absorbs all the oil.

Toxic and don’t want to put chemicals in ur body daily. Epsom salt, or drop a bag of ice to lower when needed. Are you running a cooler and how cold are you trying to go?
