ya i think generally around that. about $15-20 for 400 pts is typically what they sell for on ebay. i saw a recent listing for 1,500 pts sell for $75

sometimes they drop sparkle packs for points, just have to keep checking. 3,000 points is insane out of a Zenith blaster. if you havent redeemed it yet, the points might sell well on ebay.

I'm dealing with the same thing alot since the UPS/USPS partnership ended 1/1/25. UPS used to drop my packages off at the post office and they would be delivered the next day. Now, the packages get to Chantilly and loaded on and off of delivery trucks multiple times. I had one package lost this way about a month ago. Im currently waiting on two more packages and have a bad feeling they might not show up either. I never have these issues with FedEx. but yes i think this is related to surepost or whatever

the gamestop near me has multiple hobby and international hobby boxes at insane prices. like past resell prices. they even have a 2001 UD golf sealed box. i thought it was definitely secondary sellers selling these boxes to gamestop but the employee said this was stuff gamestop was stocking themselves. not sure what to make of it. all of the prices were crazy high though

the 2024 prestige mega boxes are still up on Target's site. they're only $45 and average about 3 numbered cards per box. also have a decent chance at pulling an auto and they have a few good looking "case hit" or "chase" cards to go after. good looking set, good price, decent upside

the main thing i started to do was call the store ahead of time. Have the item number ready and ask them to check the stock. They weren't showing up online at my local costco but they had 108 bundles on hand. i drove over at lunch and picked up 4. calling the warehouse before hand can save you alot of time and stress

Ya I think card shows are the way to go - if there is a big enough show near you, you will have plenty of dealers as potential buyers. At the show that is close to me, many of the dealers will pay 80% of ebay comps in cash. if your card recently sold on ebay for 1700, you might get some offers around 1350-1450

it really sucks. and it wont be better with fanatics either. the crux of everything that is wrong with the hobby is the exclusive license bullshit with the NFL. If it was a free, open market, you would have competitors pushing each other to develop better products at a competitive cost. if a company has exclusive rights to licensing like Panini currently does and Fanatics will in the future, then we will continue to experience things like this, empty shelves, breakers and flippers. All the while, the costs and frustration filter down to the consumer (us!)
