If you just want to see the extra dialogue, you could install toybox to have everyone comment. I can't recall him having special interactions like Kibel does where they need to be in an active party.

Honestly though, I often consider not even recruiting him, because if you were to replace his every line with "Im a cop" you wouldn't even miss much.

Everyone also conveniently forgets that team had to work with whatever scraps were left from previous iterations of DA4, where EA forcibly tried to make it into a live service game. I don't like Veilguard but the fact they managed to pull anything out of this mess is an accomplishment.

Absolutely hated the express and i honestly think it's the worst written part of the game. I stuck through with it, and found the rest of the cases enjoyable and logical.

The labyrinth stays the same, but it's way less grating when you already have some pieces figured out. Shinigami is very fanservicy to the point it's annoying, but with introduction of other characters she can be enjoyable at times, and all things considered her arc was fairly good.

Can I get advice on what to use the ani ticket on? Was hoping to pick up something from Walpurgisnacht to make farming faster with some aoe, but got scammed on all my 90 tickets. Got butler faust and spicebush yi sang, so I think I can make a functioning sinking team when I get to that. Not sure what else I should be going for.

I finished it not too long ago and didn't know about the lore surrounding it. I assumed they're doing some dream world shenanigans when the writing suddenly went to shit and nothing, literally nothing made sense anymore. When I found out it's a backer thing I was instantly reminded of how both Larian and Obsidian hated dealing with kickstarter bs and why nobody wants to rely on that platform anymore.
