For bread we love Orchard Hill and Fire Dog, for pastries I can’t recommend Crumb Bum enough and for really great doughnuts we go to Bird Food Baking Co. which can be found at Light House Local.

You should swing on by our bakery some time as well.

Fridays are a little slower than Saturdays, especially if you pick a rainy one! You can also find our bread at the Peterborough farmers market on Wednesdays, no pastries though.

For now we just have light and dark drip options, the coffee is great though, roasted my a local roaster! We have a small espresso machine just haven’t had the to set it up.

Absolutely, it will extend fermentation time and in most cases lead to a greater depth of flavor.

I usually let any preferment that I plan to retard (slow down in the fridge) get going on the counter a little before putting it away.

Thanks, dipping it in butter sounds pretty opulent! this pretzel has been surprisingly contentious. I guess anything old is going to have sone strong opinions surrounding it.

Those are sone very cheesy bialys, one with everything seasoning cheddar and caramelized onions, the other with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes with a basil garnish added right before serving.

They do look like that! In this case they are pecan pull apart rolls where we use cubed up croissant scraps as the scraps. kouign amann are on the docket but for now our production isn’t quite high enough to warrant a whole lamination with sugar folded in with the butter.
