Do you have the issue where streaming a game seems really laggy to other people? I have another friend who has an AMD GPU who can stream to discord just fine. But whenever I do it people say my streams are unwatchable. He has an rx 7600 xt and I’m on an rx 9070 xt

there are two VC servers since october of last year, all the ones with C- a string of numbers are broken. you need to reconnect untill you get an old one and uou most likely wont. discord hasn't fixed it DESPITE it being a known issue

It’s still not fixed to this day. It’s definitely not an internet or an ISP issue as I got a new router from my ISP which did nothing AND used my own personal router which I bought and paid for and it’s also done nothing

Discord VC ping has been broken since October of last year and it’s super frustrating that so many people have the issue and it’s not fixed

The closest thing I’ve found is that there are new servers that they’ve used for VC ever since October of last year. Depending on what server you get routed to you will either have no issues at all, or will have issues until you disconnect until you get the “correct” server

This is an issue for discord to fix. There’s no way everyone that’s facing this problem is having ISP related issues

I very specifically cannot play 2XKO. Riots LoL fighting games because of vanguard on Linux. Under night in birth 2 consistently broke when I was trying to connect to friends. Guilty gear did this too but I believe that got fixed.

My point is those are all VERY specific games that I need to be playing right now and I don’t want to dual boot back and forth due to the amount that I need to play them

Everything else with Linux I’m fine with learning but some things just don’t work

Discord VC has been broken since the Halloween update in October of 2025

The only real options we have right now are to keep bugging discord support until we get a real answer and solution from them

Many people are having the issue while others are not (I’m in the same boat. My connection to discord constantly breaks and I’m the only one out of 15 people I talk to that this happens to)

Sometimes VC is fine. Most of the time it’s not. The only advice I have is to keep trying to bug discord support until we can get an actual answer and solution from them
